James K. Davis


Mr. Davis has been involved in investment banking for almost 35 years. He is the Founder of Texas Corporate Capital Advisors. Mr. Davis’ responsibilities include representing companies in merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions involving subsidiaries or other companies and aiding companies in raising public or private institutional capital for expansion purposes. Mr. Davis is a Series 7, 24, 27 and 63 FINRA registered securities representative. Prior to founding Texas Corporate Capital Advisors, Mr. Davis held officer positions at Houlihan Lokey Howard and Zukin (Director, Corporate Finance), Ernst & Young LLP (Partner, Corporate Finance), NationsBanc Capital Markets, Inc. (Director, Mergers and Acquisitions) and CS First Boston (Vice President, Investment Banking) in Dallas and Dillon, Read & Co. Inc. (Associate/Vice President, Corporate Finance) in New York City. Mr. Davis received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. In addition to his involvement with TXCCA, Mr. Davis served on the Board of Directors of Cornerstone Automation Systems, Inc. and on the Board of The Family Place, a nonprofit dedicated to helping victims of family violence.

Michael Rapkoch has over 30 years of financial valuation and advisory experience with 20 years being at his own firm Sports Value Consulting developing many strong relationships in the process. He and his firm are considered to be the best in the sports valuation industry. In 2021, Mr. Rapkoch added investment banking to the list of services offered which has already resulted in a very positive response. Mr. Rapkoch expanded into investment banking after working in the industry for decades. This is a unique industry with pricing that is unlike other industries. There are a finite number of teams in a league, and that point is reflected in the price paid for teams. Having studied the details of over 50 transactions as part of his work on those deals, provides a unique knowledge base. Every deal is driven by its own factors and vision. He is also very heavily involved in charity work in the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex.
